Controlling Feral Deer Workshop - Clare

Need support controlling feral deer on your property? Join us in a coordinated approach to reduce their numbers. The Northern and Yorke Landscape Board, through funding from the State Government’s Landscape Priorities Fund, is supporting private landowners with feral deer control.

The Now or Never project aims to significantly decrease the feral deer population in South Australia through coordinated and funded aerial and ground-shooting operations.
Come along to a community gathering in Clare to learn how we’re rolling out the project in the Northern and Yorke region and how you can be involved.

You’ll hear from:

• Tim Howard, Now or Never project officer about what’s happened so far.
• Myall Tarran from PIRSA about the Thermal Assisted Aerial Control (TAAC) platform and an overview of the statewide deer eradication program.
